Can the coronavirus spread through pools and hot tubs?
Here is the answer, direct from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
– There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g. with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.
Our tubs are emptied and cleaned in between each set of guests and are treated with bromine and chlorine which will deactivate the virus in water. All touch points on the hot tub are sanitised as part of our cleaning routine.

EXTRA MEASURES
Keeping us all safe is very important and we have a number of measures in place to protect us all. These are emailed out to guests prior to arrival but include sanitisation packs in each lodge and prior to your arrival the lodge has been treated with a spray using a ULV fogger to ensure there is no virus in the property.

PLEASE NOTE
Our hot tubs are ALWAYS emptied, chlorinated and cleaned in between guests staying. Sometimes the water in the tub will look cloudy. This is natural in a wooden hot tub and is the result of resins in the wood.
