Six Scandinavian Log Cabins set on traditional croft land on the Black Isle, each one sleeps six and has a wood burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere.  Big Sky Lodges can provide a perfect base to explore the peaceful and scenic landscapes of the Highlands.  Located  10 miles outside Inverness in secluded and picturesque Drynie park, surrounded by birch woods, and meadows grazed by highland cattle.

Escape the crowds and discover wildflower meadows, beautiful birch woods and wildlife including Red Kites, Roe deer, Pine martens and sometimes Red squirrels.Outside you can sit or dine on the veranda (there are no midges here) and enjoy watching the sunset late into the evening.

If you're hunting for a log cabin in Scotland for your holidays, then you've come to the right place for a base from which to explore the Scottish HighlandsThe self catering log cabins at Big Sky Lodges are ideally situated for exploring this mountainous, peaty wilderness, surrounded by magnificent coastline.  From the fertile 'Flow Country' of North Scotland near Thurso and Wick to the expansive beaches, sea lochs and cliffs around Ullapool, Gairloch and the gateway to Skye - Mallaig and Kyle of Lochalsh all over the Highlands, whether it's Inverness, Glen Coe or Fort William (overshadowed by Ben Nevis - Britain's highest peak) and Loch Ness, our log cabins are an easy drive away, from scenic valleys clothed with woods to chilled rivers rushing from the snow-capped peaks of the  Mountains.
